We so enjoyed hosting the students and just wanted to express our appreciation for all you did in getting this exchange off the ground.
When I first heard them singing in the lobby... I was hooked! And knew they were very special people.

“Tunaweza Kimuziki has offered me the space to be creative and innovative in my method as a voice instructor. Through TK, I have interacted with and been inspired by musicians from all walks of life, and have had the privilege of seeing music through their eyes. The true highlight of my experience with TK is getting to work with the dedicated music students at Kabarak University and learning from the great wisdom of Professor Kim Carballo.“
~ Eddie Mony, Indiana University Jacobs School of Music
"I began participating more with Tunaweza Kimuziki during the organization’s activities in Kenya in 2013...This evolved to a tour for Taifa Mziki to the US ,where we toured some cities in the Midwest. This remains to be the best international tour that I have ever been part of, [it] gave me and some members of Taifa Mziki to make lasting friendships and to audition in various universities. It has been a blessing participating in Tunaweza Kimuziki activities..."
~ Sylvester Makobi, Co-founder Taifa Mziki and Graduate Student at Indiana University
